Appearance Protection
What is it?
It is a chemical protectant system to the interior carpet, vinyl, and leather surfaces and the exterior vertical surfaces of your RV.
What does it do?
Once applied, the chemical protectant prevents permanent staining of the interior and reduces UV and environmental damage to the exterior. For New units, the protection provides repair, cleaning or replacement. For preowned, the plan is limited to detailing and cleaning of the affected area.
Can I buy it later?
You can purchase an Appearance System at any time during your ownership. You can also purchase protection for other RVs you own. However, the RV will have to re-cleaned prior to the application of the chemical protectant. Please see your seller for details.
Is Appearance Protection Insurance?
It is not insurance. Please see your contract for details.
Am I required to buy Appearance Protection?
NO! It is not a requirement to purchase any additional products in order to secure a loan or purchase an RV with our partners.
Is it transferrable?
Yes you can! Please call us at the number on your contract for assistance transferring your contract.
Is it Cancellable?
No. Since the chemical protectant is permanently installed, it cannot be removed.
What types of Appearance Protection Coverage is available?
We use a ceramic exterior protectant that reduces UV and environmental damage due to acid rain, bird droppings, tree sap, and other hazards. For the interior, we have a micro-hydrophobic application system that forms a covalent bond with the fibers of carpet or fabric; it also bonds with vinyl and leather to create a barrier against permanent staining due to pets, grease and grime.
What are the maintenance requirements?
On the exterior, use a mild soap and water to remove animal, insect, or plant debris upon discovery. For the interior, simple cleaning and patting of spills will help the protect last for many years of use.
